Given All Clad's and Emeril's reputation, I was surprised and disappointed in the quality. The handles got too warm requiring pot holders and the inside of the saucepan showed pitted stains after one use boiling water that would not come out easily or totally. Would rather had level more like bonded steel for Emeril's line.

I already had one of Emeril's small pans with lid, it weighs about 2 times what the next larger one in this set weighs. Just not as good a quality as that one pan I already have. I was using it as a guide for buying more, disappointed. I am getting a new Viking induction stove, guess I need to bite the bullet and buy the Viking pans. ;-(
