Each blade is precision-forged of Wusthof's own high-carbon stain-resistant steel alloy. It is then skillfully honed by hand and laser-tested for a flawless edge that lasts longer. The trimmed bolster on this line of Wusthof cutlery makes this knife easy to resharpen and maintain. The pebble-grain textured poly handle is permanently bonded to the extended tang for a no-slip grip.
